As Tuck’s leader of alumni engagement, the Director has a direct and lasting influence on the lives and careers of the exceptionally talented individuals that each year join an alumni network that The Economist has ranked number one among MBA programs – leaders of business, government, and civil society who aspire to become the difference in the world of business and beyond. Passionate and lifelong alumni engagement is an integral component of our distinctly personal, connected, and transformative MBA program. While their industry-leading rate of annual giving is renowned, Tuck alumni are exceptional community members in many other ways including in support of admissions, career development, and through myriad volunteer roles. They are eager to connect with prospective and current students and with each other in more and deeper ways.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Tuck Advancement, and with the support of an outstanding team of alumni relations professionals, the Director develops, plans, and implements strategies and initiatives that engage our alumni in all aspects of the MBA experience, including student recruitment, admissions, experiential learning programs, and career development. In addition, the Director partners with development colleagues to sustain and strengthen alumni philanthropic support, which enables Tuck to achieve its vision as a preeminent business school that creates, teaches, and applies life-changing knowledge in a collaborative community. 

We seek an exceptional innovator and strategist who will present bold ideas for inspiring, mobilizing, and engaging Tuck alumni, as well as an energizing communicator who can persuasively articulate our alumni’s essential role in fulfilling Tuck’s mission to educate wise leaders to better the world of business. Success will require superior constituency engagement and analytical skills, and demonstrated excellence as a team leader, contributor, and role model. An impressive track record of accomplishments in an alumni relations leadership position, or similarly sophisticated constituent engagement role at a preeminent organization is essential.
