Posting Summary:
The Department of Neurology is seeking highly organized, self-motivated candidates for the position of Medical Education Program Coordinator. This position provides educational program support and coordination for multiple programs including CME activities for the department. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: organizing and managing logistical arrangements (including securing space, equipment, food, and supplies) for special events; serving as an educational liaison for all constituents; monitoring completion of all ACGME documentation requirements; participating fully in all aspects of the recruitment process, especially interview season; maintaining current knowledge of ACGME program requirements; website maintenance; CME coordination; and filing.

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of administrative experience. In addition to the required education, successful applicants must have: ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of faculty, trainees, and staff in a fast paced academic environment; ability to initiate, prioritize, and complete complex activities with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines and policy requirements; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Word and Excel. Excellent written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Preferred candidates will have experience supporting medical education programs at an academic institution, TAGME certification, and working knowledge of New Innovations, ERAS, NRMP and Qgenda.

University and accrediting agency policies and regulations governing medical education, continuing medical education, and clinical/research traineeship training. Adhere to the ACGME rules and regulations.
