Position Summary: The Center for Language Teaching Advancement (CeLTA) at Michigan State University invites applications for an annual academic specialist position in the Continuing System for an individual to serve as Foreign Language Assessment Coordinator beginning August 2017. The successful applicant will contribute to the development of foreign language assessment programs, which includes teaching in the field of language assessment.
Faculty: Minimum Qualifications Support Staff: Minimum Requirements Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years experience in foreign language assessment, foreign language curriculum development, and task-based language education.
Typing Requirements (wpm):
Desired Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years experience in grant writing and near-native proficiency in a less commonly taught language.
