The Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program at the University of Missouri invites applications and nominations for a full-time, 12-month, Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor. The Faculty member will join well-established master’s and baccalaureate degree-granting programs in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.

Successful candidates will hold the master’s degree and the Registered Sonographer credential (RDMS, RDCS, RVT) with appropriate knowledge and experience in the field of ultrasound (Physics, Instrumentation, Hemodynamics, Cardiovascular Principles, ultrasound academic curricula). The ideal candidate will have a history of effective teaching and an excellent reputation in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound.

The Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program emphasizes teaching excellence resulting in highly sought-after graduates with a consistent 100% pass rate on national board exams. This program includes clinical experiences in abdomen, gynecology, obstetrics, superficial organs, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound. The Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program is one of five programs in the Clinical & Diagnostic Sciences Department, which values a collegial environment that supports the intellectual and professional growth of students and faculty. The Clinical & Diagnostic Sciences Department is one of five departments within the School of Health Professions, a rapidly expanding school within the University of Missouri.
