Grade:T23 The Fox School of Business at Temple University is looking for a full-time research assistant to begin in Summer 2017. This research assistant will be mentored by Crystal Reeck and will work on projects at the intersection of psychology, management, and marketing. Dr. Reeck's research examines how emotions influence decision making and the strategies people use to manage their emotions when making decisions. The primary project the research assistant will work on investigates consumer decisions about products that impact the natural environment. This Research Assistant will primarily be responsible for recruiting and scheduling participants, managing human subject protocols, and assisting with the design, implementation, and analysis of behavioral experiments. This position will offer the candidate a dynamic, in-depth research experience. This position is well-suited for motivated students graduating from undergraduate institutions and preparing to apply to graduate programs in psychology, management, or marketing. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field and at least six (6) months of research experience in psychology, behavioral economics, marketing, or a related discipline. Experience with a statistical software package (i.e. SPSS, R. MATLAB, STATA, SAS). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, including experience as an undergraduate research assistant.

*Expertise in behavioral research.
*Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
*Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and take initiative when necessary.
*Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
*Experience with a statistical software package (i.e. SPSS, R. MATLAB, STATA, SAS).
Preferred: *Previous exposure to online survey research, such as Qualtrics or Amazon Mechanical Turk.
*Programming skills in Matlab, Python, PHP, SQL, and/or Java.
This position is grant funded.
