    POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR POSITIONS
    CHEMICAL BIOLOGY, NANOTECHNOLOGY, BIOSENSORS, PROTEIN ENGINEERING, BIOPHYSICS, AND BIOCHEMISTRY

    RESEARCH TOPICS:
    (A) Engineering biosensors for detecting cancer biomarkers
    Phage-displayed libraries are designed and selected to identify binding partners to cancer biomarkers, which are recombinantly overexpressed and purified.

    (B) DNA sequencing with nanocircuits

    Tethering DNA polymerase to nanometer-scale electronic circuits could enable faster, more accurate DNA sequencing, and uncover new insights into the enzymology of this key protein.

    (C) Biosynthesis and enzymology
    A vortex fluid device opens new frontiers in protein folding, enzymatic catalysis and biosynthesis.
