College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach courses in Field and Experiential Learning, disciplines and courses vary per the instructor design. Field Studies offers credit courses that combine classroom work with empirical field experiences. Classes are experience based and faculty lead. Courses include Arts and Culture, Interdisciplinary Learning Communities, Outdoor Adventure and Science and Nature. The courses vary from local to international destinations. Study Abroad courses immerse you in culture and language. Short term, summer and semester-long opportunities abound. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days, evenings and weekends.


Position Title: ADJUNCT FACULTY, Field Studies

Duties of Position:


Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.



Experience and Education:


Graduate work through the Master's degree in the appropriate discipline required. Teaching experience at the college level preferred.
