The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites applications for a teaching position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management and Public Policy (SMPP) starting as early as the Fall of 2017. We invite applications from candidates with strong teaching credentials in SMPP, broadly defined; including such areas as strategy, organization theory or public policy, etc. The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in the strategic management area, broadly defined.

Our department is committed to rigorous and high-impact scholarly work from a variety of methodological and theoretical perspectives, including strategy, business ethics, public policy, corporate social responsibility, and organization theory.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants for this position must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. or other terminal degree in business or a closely related field by the date of appointment. Applicants must have demonstrated potential for success as evidenced by teaching and service in the area of strategic management, business ethics, public policy, corporate social responsibility, and/or environmental sustainability.
