Responsibilities

Responsible for providing quality, effective, reliable, and responsive support to ITS customers and their computing needs. Coordinate and translate user needs and requirements into achievable and realistic long-term IT goals and strategies.
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of services for Windows and Macintosh workstation administration. Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing Windows and Macintosh users related needs. Coordinates the implementation and changes to CTS departmental services and subsystems. Consults with departments on needs and requirements including support, implementation and maintenance of these services and subsystems.
Assist CTS and its customer base in the policy making for resource access and security. Assist CTS management in deciding policy for support of Windows and Macintosh workstation administration.
Coordinates with the position manager/supervisor in programs which would disseminate information concerning the maintenance and implementation of CTS departmental services for Macintosh and Windows-based computers.
Telephone/personal/electronic communication with all FSU entities that implement CTS departmental services or access CTS services on a daily basis. Telephone/personal/electronic communication with FSU entities Vendors as needed.
A State vehicle, golf cart, utility vehicle, or all- terrain vehicle will be used to reach site premises. A valid driver's license will be needed in order to operate vehicle.
Assist in other duties, as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience, or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Experience conveying technical information to technical and non- technical users.
Experience documenting existing and new processes.
Experience with applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
Experience with applicable computer software and operating systems.
Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures for computer support.
Experience providing excellent customer service.
Valid Driver's License

Preferred

Working knowledge of Group Policy Objects, OneDrive for Business, Office 365 and Mac OSX.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
