Responsibilities

Receive NHMFL shipments using applicable tools as required for heavy moving (hand carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts, etc.). Inspect shipment for any visible damage and match paperwork to the appropriate NHMFL purchase requisition for accuracy. Process each shipment by stamping receipt date, listing requesters name and making available for pickup. Deliver shipping receipts to the appropriate Procurement Associate for systems processing. Assist NHMFL customers in packaging shipments as needed. Assist the NHMFL Property Custodian with ongoing inventory and sending to surplus and scraping as requested.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalency. Experience handling shipping and receiving of goods and property. Experience working in a detail oriented environment. Experience maintaining records and files. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. Experience with computer operations and basic functions. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
