Job Description
Description: Responsible for the management and coordination of all intra/interdepartmental communication between the Facility and the Systems Business Office. Acts as an intermediary between the facilities and the SBO to resolve and monitor issues and performance so that the revenue cycle is achieving established goals. Participates in the achievement of strategic goals and indicators of revenue cycle success. Motivates SBO and facility departments to achieve established goals and to maintain best of the best processes. Works in partnership with Site and SBO Leaders and additional stakeholders to resolve issues affecting the A/R. Excellent Communication skills and comfortable with publis speaking in small/large group settings Utilizes all appropriate resources to address issues, solve problems, and drive improvement. Assist the Revenue Cycle leadership with action plans to achieve and sustain KPI improvements. Utilizes key performance data(denials, claim edits, errors, etc) to provide feedback to the facilities related to recurring issues to address required training and process improvement needs. Communicates timely to the Facilities or SBO all new and/or changes or initiatives (includes overall A/R strategy, management, staffing, process changes, etc). Communicates to all parties any proposed or planned IT&S system changes. Performs detail audits of Revenue Cycle outcomes, identify root causes and facilitate the implementation of action plans. Advanced ability in use of all areas of the Microsoft Suite. Prepares documentation, serves as the subject matter expert for and facilitate: one-on-one or group training, meetings, and group sessions on key Revenue Cycle subjects. Serves as project manager for system or process implementations. When asked, performs other duties as assigned to support revenue cycle operations Requirements: BA/BS in business or related concentration Minimum 3-5 years experience in healthcare operations. AAHAM(American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management) Certification preferred.
