Duties: The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chair of Psychiatry will have a multifaceted position serving as the major support person to the Chair and the senior point person for projects initiated by the Chair. The EA will organize, facilitate and supervise all activities in Chair's office. This will include, but to be limited to, coordination of the Chair's calendar scheduling to ensure meetings start and stop on time, as well as ensuring all correspondence, written materials, emails are prepared in a timely manner for review and distribution to meet all deadlines. This position includes managing the pilot grants for the PTNC as well as assist with grant submissions and manuscripts. The EA will manage the Forensics Program including interface with law firms and manage accounts payable and receivable. The EA will also triage a high volume of phone calls and maintain the department's database. The EA will serve as the liaison and representative between the Department of Psychiatry and the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, University of Pennsylvania and others. The EA will also coordinate faculty recruitment efforts. Will also provide support to ED of PBH on financial and operational projects.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in academia at a large healthcare system is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills are a must. Attention to detail is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Power-Point, Excel, as well as in reference managing systems and Access.
