General Summary: University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Administration. This position will assist with daily operation of the UNG athletic department. This position will include a tuition waiver and hourly pay rate.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Graduate Assistant will:
  • Assist with the advisement of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
  • Assist with game management.
  • Assist with marketing and special event planning.
  • Assist with NCAA compliance.
  • Assist with administration of the athletic booster club (NAC).
  • Assist with NCAA mandatory reports.
  • Preform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • Good oral and written communication skills


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Admission into graduate school at UNG required
  • Former NCAA athlete preferred
  • Experience with SAAC preferred
