Unit Job Summary: The Senior Associate Director oversees recruiting and admissions for Booth's Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Programs. The goal of this position is to increase and optimize outreach efforts and events to convert high quality prospective students into applicants. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Manage three Admissions staff to ensure the team is contacting a large volume of prospective students. Set monthly outreach goals (calls, emails, in-person meetings) and hold self and team accountable for such. -Oversee schedule of large volume of Admissions events in Chicago and across the United States. Work with team to evaluate, optimize and change events as needed using a data-drive approach. -Present at Information Sessions, receptions across the US and corporate events. Utilize strong public speaking skills. -Ensure Admissions processes and procedures are documented and updated to ensure consistency and accuracy. -Serve as point person for strategies and tactics to recruit niche groups within prospective student pool (military veterans, reapplicants, and females, for example). -Interview applicants, review applications, advise on admissions decisions, and yield admitted students. -Support the quarterly class close process, which includes ensuring all admissions decisions are made in a timely manner and achieve quantity and quality measures. -Maintain excellent customer service and two day response time for prospective and admitted students. -Develop and nurture close relationships and open communication with departments across Booth and partner when makes sense strategically. -Domestic travel required.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

Unit Experience: Minimum six years of related experience in admissions and/or higher education required. Minimum two years of experience managing direct reports required.

Unit Job Function Competencies: Exceptional communications skills required. Professional demeanor, discretion, and a customer service-oriented approach required. Superior organizational skills, ability to identify priorities, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines required. Proven ability to manage internal working relationships and interact and communicate with discretion, clarity, tact, and courtesy required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM databases required, Slate expertise preferred. Ability to work weeknights and Saturdays required. Ability to maintain confidentiality required.
