  Position Information  

Three (3) intermittent, temporary positions anticipated to begin on May 1, 2017 and end on or before September 30, 2017. These positions are designated exempt under FLSA and not eligible for overtime compensation. Work hours will vary based on operational needs.

Under the general direction of the Outbound Ticket Revenue Manager, the Telemarketing Ticket Sales Special Consultant will focus on selling season tickets, mini-plans, and group ticket packages for the San Diego State Aztec football and basketball programs, via the telephone and face-to face presentations.  The special consultant will be responsible for and meet an individual quota and department sales goals.

  Compensation and Benefits  

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $96 per day. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.


Minimum Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in selling season tickets, mini-plans, and/or group ticket packages and/or event sales/donations/marketing via the telephone and face-to-face presentations. 

Preferred Qualifications and Specialized Skills

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Marketing.

Strong customer service experience. 

Experience developing and giving presentations.

Experience in an intercollegiate athletics and/or sports environment. 

Experience with Archtics/Ticketmaster software.
