University of North Texas - Administrative Coordinator III
The College of Science at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator III to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Serving as Executive Assistant to the Dean, duties including keeping the Dean's calendar, making appointments, screening phone calls and drop-in visitors, preparing reports, responding to official inquires, and communication through emails, letters, and phone.* Maintaining current policies, procedure documents, and forms for the college, and interpreting impact of university and college policies and procedures to department chairs and faculty.* Serving as college contact person for university business such as Faculty Information System, Space Inventory, etc.; Maintaining system and inputting information as directed.* Serving as purchasing and travel reimbursement agent for the Office of the Dean.* Providing administrative assistance in college faculty affairs such as hiring, tenure and promotion, annual evaluation, faculty award nomination, Faculty Council agenda, etc.* Supervising some other administrative staff in the Office of the Dean.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and three years of office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
