The HRIS Reporting Analyst position reports to the Senior Manager of HRIS. This position will analyze and interpret data in order to support the objectives of the Human Resources department and our business partners. HRIS Reporting Analyst will compile reports, analyze and synthesize data in order to communicate key HR metrics to stakeholders in HR and other stakeholders at UNT. This position will also analyze data in order to identify areas of concern or best practices for SME to review in more detail. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking and can anticipate customer needs with the goal of delivering information to customers before they know they need it. Job Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: * Provide exceptional customer service and anticipate customer needs to deliver consistent and timely information. * Manage timeliness and quality of recurring and ad‐hoc reports produced by HRIS team. * Interact with end users in Human Resources and other departments to understand business issues and provide advice about data that are available to support the business. * Develop simple to complex HR reports using data from PeopleSoft HCM database. * Design and develop dashboards to answer relevant business questions and communicate report data in a concise and easy to understand format. * Leverage technology to deliver the right information to the customer in a timely fashion. This would include creating dashboards and dynamic reporting. * Use knowledge of relational databases to retrieve data from the Core HR system. * Proactively work to improve reporting (value‐add, efficiency, quality, speed) and delivery processes considering all available technologies. * Collaborate with Records Management team to maintain data integrity. The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications: *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources or related field required. * A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources with 3 years writing advance SQL statements and using reporting tools to extract data from HRMS system.
