The Assistant Director of Development will direct all activities related to constituent records management, gift and pledge processing, and document and file management for Mean Green Club in Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of North Texas. As a member of the development staff, he or she will assist in managing overall operations and strategic direction for all aspects related to the receipt and processing of gifts and pledges, communicating with internal and external clients and constituencies, and executing strategies for continuous business process improvement.Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Develop and direct the use of Ticket Master for all Mean Green Club gift processing, batch data entry, gift maintenance, and pledge processing. * Develop and monitor the posting process to Raiser's Edge and serve as internal liaison in matters relating to the reconciliation of transmittals to University Advancement. * Manage the database infrastructure and functionality including the maintenance of records relating to giving data and pledges payable. * Create, edit and update donor database accounts and files. * Manage all sensitive fiscal, biographical, and demographic data for all constituents and prospect reports. Data will be maintained accurately through gift entry, research, data entry, clerical support, and data reporting. * Develop and maintain financial reports; assist the Athletics Chief Financial Officer with current and future financial projections and forecasts. * Assist the Athletics Executive Team with special events, programs, and projects.* Maintain solid understanding of CASE standards and IRS charitable contribution guidelines, including the use of quid pro quo for athletic ticket holders. * Produce, manage and send routine donor mailings including pledge reminders, giving summaries, bulk mailings for billings, year-end tax statements, renewals, etc.* Work in conjunction with and support Athletics Ticket Office staff to service all donors and requests.* Produce, edit and distribute donor acknowledgement communications weekly. * Interact with donors, constituents and prospects through various methods of communication.* Provide assistance to the Mean Green Staff in support of gifts, donor records, donor events and overall operations.* Coordinates the administrative processes, donor relations, stewardship, and various events for the Mean Green Club. * Develop marketing materials in a variety of media to promote fundraising campaigns. * Plan, creates, and executes and tracks results of strategic direct mail campaigns for annual gifts. * Researches prospects and develops a strategic cultivation strategy. * Comply with all NCAA, Conference USA, and North Texas athletic department rules and regulations.* Proactively represents UNT Athletics at external events in order process gifts and grow network of supportThe University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
