University of North Texas - Visiting Assistant Professor
The Fibers Program at the University of North Texas invites applications for a one year, full-time faculty appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in Fibers to begin Fall 2017. Responsibilities: Teach all levels of undergraduate and graduate courses in fibers, with a focus on weaving, knit, and three-dimensional fiber techniques. Faculty is expected to participate in the development and coordination of the Fibers program, maintain an active professional practice, and serve on institutional committees as needed. Working with the Fibers lab technician, there are some maintenance and supervision responsibilities specific to the weaving studios. MFA in studio arts or terminal degree in related field at time of appointment, with University teaching level experience.
