The Department of Studio art seeks an experienced professional to forge new curriculum in Game Design|Game Art in concert with established and successful Game Programming offerings in Computer Sciences and Engineering. The ideal candidate will teach an industry-applicable approach for collaborative practices between artists and programmers, and have a demonstrated record of creative practice and innovative research. We are seeking an interdisciplinary individual who will work within the College of Visual Arts and Design ? with programs such as New Media Art ( and the xRez Art Science Lab ( as well as with colleagues in relevant colleges across campus in order to develop and lead this new endeavor at the University's New College at Frisco. In addition to teaching and curricular work, the successful candidate will be active in industry outreach and student recruiting efforts.
