The Postdoctoral Research Associate is responsible for modeling, understanding, and designing nonoscale systems for advanced applications in electronics, spintronics, and materials for energy and the environment and high-throughput techniques for materials genomics. There will also be collaborations with other experimental and theoretical research groups. Tasks could include but are not limited to:- Collaborate in design and identification of research projects in electronic structure of materials systems- Design, implement, and execute high-performance simulations with state-of-the-art electronic structure codes, including but not llimited to: quantum espresso, NWChem, CPMD, LAMMPS, etc.- Analyze the computational data and modeling of the numerical experiments- Develop theoretical models and algorithms in electronic structure and transport theoryThe University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
