The College of Business at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, invites nominations and applications for appointment to the newly created Glen L. Taylor Professorship of Insurance. The appointment is for an endowed chair position, has tenured status at the full-professor level, and has a starting date of January 2017. The successful candidate will have an established record as a prominent scholar in risk management and insurance. Working within the Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Law, the Taylor Professor is expected to raise the visibility of the UNT College of Business in the area of financial services, specifically risk management and insurance research, provide pedagogical leadership at all levels, and be actively involved in creating ties with the business and policy-making communities.
