The Department of Occupational Therapy, College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor. The Research Assistant Professor will engage in research with a focus on driving rehabilitation and may be assigned to teach. The teaching assignment would be in the graduate entry-level occupational therapy program that includes mentoring students and providing class activities in areas of clinical expertise.
The Department of Occupational Therapy (http://ot.phhp.ufl.edu/ ) is a national leader in occupational therapy education and research. The department has active research programs in the areas of driving rehabilitation and community mobility, and learning disabilities, as well as outstanding academic and training programs that include an entry level Masters in Occupational Therapy program and a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science program. The department is a leader in the NIH-funded K12 Rehabilitation Research Career Development consortium and is home to the Florida Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation; Institute for Mobility, Activity and Participation; and the Center for Research on Telehealth and Assistive Technology.

Salary is commensurate with experience.Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science or a closely related field and must be licensed/license-eligible as an occupational therapist in the state of Florida. Preferred Qualifications:
