The Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology (APK) at the University of Florida (UF) is seeking applications for a 9-month, full-time lecturer (non-tenure) faculty position. The Department of APK (http://apk.hhp.ufl.edu/) currently enrolls approximately 1000 students (900 undergraduate, 100 graduate) with 22 full-time faculty members. The primary responsibilities of this faculty position may include, but are not limited to, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the areas of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, neuromuscular aspects of exercise, strength and conditioning, and exercise physiology. Although the primary duties for this position are instructional, involvement in service at the department, college, and university levels is also expected.
The preferred start date is August 16, 2017.
