The University of Florida invites applications for a Lecturer in Medical Physiology, a non-tenure track 12-month full-time faculty position in the Department of Physiology and Functional Genomics, College of Medicine. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Physiology or related discipline, and a broad base working knowledge of physiology, with specialty knowledge preferably in one or more of these areas: cardiovascular; muscle; exercise; endocrinology; renal physiology; gastrointestinal physiology. The student base includes medical students, physician assistants, and graduate students. Responsibilities include classroom lectures on campus, as well as online distance learning courses.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Physiology or related discipline and a broad base working knowledge of physiology.Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include documented success in teaching, evidence-based teaching practices, and flexibility in using non-traditional approaches such as Team-Based Learning.
