Job Description:

The University of Florida seeks to fill an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation. This position involves  clinical, teaching  and research activities and can be a tenure or non-tenure track (dependent on the applicant).

Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

The applicant will be expected to cover clinical service, teach fellows and if tenure track to develop a strong research program. For the clinical education side, the applicant must have a strong interest in general and transplant clinical nephrology and teaching. An active role with medical students, residents, and fellows education is anticipated. Start-up packages are available.

The clinical duties will include providing Nephrologic care in the Outpatient  setting at UF Health. In addition, this position will also cover outpatient clinic and  inpatient service at the VA Medical Center, Select Specialty Hospital, as well as covering the Internal Medicine Teaching service at UF Health. Applicant must be eligible to be employed at the VA Medical Center.

If on the tenure track, research responsibilities include applying for funding, carrying out and publishing research.

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have a MD degree and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology.
