Job Description:

The University of Florida, Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position, at the rank of Research Assistant Professor. The successful candidate may be engaged in research with a focus on Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia, aplastic anemia, bone marrow transplant, Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), myelofibrosis, secondary aplastic anemia, and stem cell research. This individual will have opportunities to actively participate in the supervision of laboratory staff and students, mentoring students and volunteers, and collaborating with research collaborators seeking new technologies and services.

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

PhD or an MD/PhD in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology or Biochemistry. The candidate should have evidence of prior productive scientific work in the forms of publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with clinical trial management, grant writing, manuscript writing and editing, statistical analysis, software proficiency in Prism, EndNote, FACS Diva, Bath and Python.
