DIRECTOR OF EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS
Duties: Under the direction of the CFO, the selected candidate is responsible for the administration, organization, and supervision of the Athletics Equipment Operations for 33 NCAA Division I sports. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, as well as National Operating Committee on Standard Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: oversight of all equipment room operations including budgeting, purchasing, fitting, inventory / auditing, laundry / maintenance and staffing for multiple equipment facilities throughout campus; development and maintenance of positive relationships with coaches, student-athletes, and equipment / apparel vendors in the selection and fitting of equipment, to include the review and adherence to equipment and apparel agreements.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience with managing events preferred. Previous experience dealing with athletic facilities. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong pc skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
