ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES
Duties: Overall facility supervision for 14 indoor facilities (roughly 850,000 square foot) and 10 outdoor facilities (1,109,000 square feet) that support 33 varsity sports, 39 club teams, a diversified intramural program, and general recreation for undergraduate and graduate student populations. Oversees all facility related capital projects and is direct liaison with the University's Facilities and Real Estate Services (FRES). Responsible for managing the Division's master plan and overall facilities budget.
Qualifications: BA/BS required and 7 years to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience managing facilities required, preferably at NCAA or professional sports level. knowledge of design and construction processes; knowledge of engineering/building systems; previous project management experience. Outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills are required. Managerial and organizational skills, including previous supervisory experience, are a must along with strong computer skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
