Degree and Area of Specialization: Bachelor's degree required; social sciences, biological sciences or health-related field preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: 1-2 years of experience in clinical or health or social research environment preferred. Previous experience with research methodology desirable.



Position Summary: This position will support the research program of Dr. Josh Cisler. Dr. Cisler conducts neuroimaging research with traumatized adolescent and adult samples. Portions of his research include clinical trial methodology. The successful candidate will support the Cisler program in all aspects of research and will be part of a growing, creative, dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of assigned research studies and clinical trials, including recruitment, consenting, administration of assessments, budgeting, study conduct, monitoring, and data management and quality control. As such, strong organization skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated initiative are required. Must be comfortable working with both adolescent and adult trauma-exposed populations.



Additional Information: Ideal candidates will have the following:

Expereince in clincial or health or a social research environment.

Expereince in research methodology.

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work well on a team and maintain professional interactions with patients, caregivers, hospital staff, and research staff.

Excellent attention to detail.



- Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Redcap, Access, statistics software, perform electronic literature searchers, and use database software.

-Some background in psychology or biological sciences
