Essential Job Duties: The Department of Molecular Biomedical Sciences and the NCSU Veterinary Hospital are currently recruiting a Clinical Veterinarian in anesthesia as follows: The primary responsibility of this clinician will be to assist in the provision of clinical anesthesia services within the Veterinary Hospital, the Equine Hospital and the Health and Wellness Center. The position will require teaching and supervision of veterinary students, technicians and interns in the administration of anesthesia. Patients will be in the Terry Center, Health and Wellness Center and Large Animal Hospital for both routine and emergency cases. The job also requires participation in the CVM curriculum in didactic lectures and with laboratory involving live animals. Sharing of emergency and holiday duty will also be expected. The successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in collaborative research. This position is anticipated to be a one year appointment.

Minimum Education/Experience: DVM (or equivalent degree) and board eligible.
