Salary Range: Pay based on FT Faculty Salary Schedule

Preferred Qualifications: *Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Minimum Qualifications: **(All required qualifications must be clearly identified within your submitted material to be considered for this position.)** *Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from a D.H. program accredited by CODA, OR a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from a D.H. program accredited by CODA. *Documented background in current educational methodology concepts and/or continuing education credits consistent with dental hygiene course work. *Current Registered Dental Hygiene (RDH) License, with Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Certifications for the State of Michigan *Current Basic Life Support (CPR) for Healthcare Providers with AED training *Clinical practice work experience equivalent to two (2) years full-time or 2,040 hours.

Responsibilities: Teach courses in Dental Hygiene, consistent with current developments in the discipline and teaching methods. Participate in program/department meetings and divisional/college-wide committees with a focus on the continual improvement of programs and learning outcomes. Participate in curriculum and course development, course and program coordination, tutoring and advising students, mentoring and reviewing peers, and shared governance of the College. Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
