Duties: Assist the Undergraduate Chair, the Associate Directors of Advising and the Graduate Coordinator in managing various aspects of the Computer Science degree programs, including course rostering, room scheduling, registration procedures, and ABET certification process. Maintain course waiting lists. Provide information to students and disseminate information on degree programs, as well as course offerings, classroom assignments, exams, review sessions, and advisor sign-offs/registration; update undergraduate web pages; develop spreadsheets on CIS students and courses upon request.

Assist with freshmen orientation, Penn Previews and commencement; schedule meetings with prospective students and their families with faculty. Provide support for CIS events and outreach programs to high school students. Maintain effective relationships with faculty, internal SEAS contacts, and students to develop and enhance program initiatives.

Provide Administrative support to assigned CIS Faculty. Handle faculty course materials and course websites, travel and meeting arrangements, expense reimbursements, and other duties as assigned.

Work with Penn's International Students and Scholar Services to process visas for postdocs and visitors to the CIS department. Interface with the Engineering library to maintain CIS Technical Reports.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required; ability to work effectively in a team environment; proficiency with microsoft office suite; ability to create and manage spreadsheets to provide information to management.
