Degree and Area of Specialization: MD or DO; board certified/board eligible electrophysiologist.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: Strong clinical background with demonstrated excellence in patient care and teaching. Suitable applicants will demonstrate skill in SVT, AF and VT ablation as well as the full range of device management and implantation.
License or certificate: Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
Position Summary: The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Wisconsin, Madison is seeking a BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist with expertise in complex ablations to join our Arrhythmia Service. We have 7 faculty members involved with the full spectrum of EP procedures including device implants, AF and VT ablations, and lead extraction. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to continue to build the EP service including the VT ablation program, and will be engaged in clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows in addition to pursuit of clinical research endeavors.
