Job Description
The Department of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences (DDBS) of the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy (http://www.sc.edu/study/colleges_schools/pharmacy/index.php) and the COBRE Center for Targeted Therapeutics (CTT) (http://www.sc.edu/study/colleges_schools/pharmacy/research_and_practice/research_centers_and_facilities/cobre_center_for_targeted_therapeutics/index.php) are seeking qualified applicants for a full time, 12-month, tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include assisting in the administration of the NIH-funded CTT, teaching professional PharmD and graduate curricula and conducting independent research in the area of Targeted Therapeutics.


Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have a Ph.D. with at least 7 years of combined postdoctoral and faculty experience in biomedical sciences and should have held a University faculty position with a record of didactic teaching. Applicants should also have a record of success in winning competitive research grants and serving as principal investigators on external grant-funded projects.
