The Director of Information and System Services for the University Advancement Division is responsible for providing daily oversight in the planning, development, deployment and maintenance of information and system services. This individual will oversee teams that are responsible for functional areas such as web and application development and support; data warehouse development and reporting in a MS SQL Server platform; desktop support. These teams will fulfill data and report requests, provide end user support, investigate and resolve application, transactional and data-related issues of enterprise fundraising software, including Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge (RE) and/or CRM (BBCRM), and NetCommunity (BBNC) and/or Internet Solutions (BBIS), Lumniate Online and other associated products. They will also develop and maintain data integrations with other University-wide systems such as Campus Solutions and Workday Finance.

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or a related field.
• Minimum five years related work experience, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience of full-time IT professionals.
• Equivalent combinations of education/experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of SQL or similar query language required, T-SQL preferred.
• Experience utilizing report design/visualization software such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Excel PowerPivot.
• Experience in a non-profit education setting and an understanding of fund raising fundamentals preferred.
• Possess knowledge of various hardware and software systems, database development and reporting, security, and IT project management.
• Proven management skills that foster an open dialog with all department staff.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects in varying complexity.
• Strong problem determination and resolution skills.
• Self-motivated and have willingness to commit additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones and implementation deadlines.
• Detailed oriented and organized with an ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise confidentiality and good judgment when working with sensitive issues.
