The Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach a range of upper-level and lower-level courses in Sociology, both in-class and on-line. The primary focus of this position is teaching, and the ideal candidate is one who is committed to full-time undergraduate teaching. Additional faculty responsibilities include student advisement, assessment, university service and on-going professional development
Applicants must have a Masters in Sociology or closely-related field at the time of appointment with undergraduate college-level teaching experience. A commitment to undergraduate college teaching is essential. A terminal degree and experience with on-line teaching are preferred.
