Job Description
The Coordinator for Outreach assists the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity, and the Behavioral Intervention Team in expanding its role as a tool for integrative learning. The Coordinator designs and coordinates the three units' outreach plans and provides leadership in promoting the Carolinian Creed.

S/he designs proactive opportunities for students to learn about alternatives to the behaviors that are addressed by the Student Code of Conduct and the Honor Code through assessment and research with key constituent groups. S/he has responsibility for assessing educational outcomes and sanctions for students referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity, and the Behavioral Intervention Team and constituents who participate in training and educational programming.

Individually and with campus partners, the Coordinator creates and implements prevention efforts to reduce high risk and high rate offenses.

S/he oversees programmatic efforts related to the university's core value statement, the Carolinian Creed, and fosters campus collaborations to enhance both funding and programming. The Coordinator assists the Graduate Assistant for Outreach with the coordination of Carolinian Creed and Diversity Week/Day through advising the Carolina Judicial Council and coordinating campus partner relationships.


Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Student Personnel Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
