Working Title Inventory Control Specialist

We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to provide fiscal support using independent judgment in application of fixed assets rules and procedures within the Office of Controller, Inventory Control section. This position will make fiscal decisions, maintain inventory records, maintain compliance with policies and procedures, and solve problems related to inventory and lead student employee(s). This position will instruct department personnel in proper procedures for control of equipment and assist with other general accounting functions such as travel claims.

High School Diploma or GED
Associate of Arts Degree in accounting or business plus two years of accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency and/or diversity.
Fixed asset/inventory experience.
Higher Education experience.
Experience using accounting-related software.
