Senior Network Administrator
The Senior Network Administrator maintains and operates tools to manage client devices (PCs, MACs, laptops, mobile devices) college-wide. The Senior Network Administrator provides maintenance and support of (assigned) systems and applications (server and cloud-based). Responsibilities also include the administration and support of the college's network resources such as workstation images, software application packages, software updates, printers and shared drives.
The Senior Network Administrator researches and pilots new technologies to support instruction and improve business processes. The individual utilizes project management best practices to lead teams in large technology implementations including, but not limited to: client management system implementations and upgrades, operating system upgrades and application deployments.

Salary Range: $62,707-$78,384
Bachelor's degree in the field of information systems, computer science or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years experience network administration experience.
Network+ or other current related certification.
Maintains in-depth knowledge and/or certifications in technologies including, but not limited to: client management tools, client technologies, Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory, VMWare, Varonis, security and network protocols. Demonstrates knowledge in administration and support of SCCM.
Stays current with technologies in one or more of the following: end user computing, endpoint protection platforms, database technologies and cloud-computing.
Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical staff and leadership. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with the ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
Must be able to complete complex projects and resolve issues with minimal to no supervision.
Minimum of 5 years administering client management tools such as Altiris or SCCM in support of a large, production environment.
Current intermediate level certifications such as Security+, MCSA or other related field.
Experience with change management processes to effectively communicate changes, develop testing and remediation plans to minimize side effects of hardware and software changes.
Experience in a higher-education environment.
Experience leading staff in technology projects.
