The Department of Accounting at the University of Toledo invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor (beginning August 2017) in accounting information systems, financial accounting, or tax (Preference will be given to the tax area). A Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited program is required; however, J.D./ M.S.T, or J.D./ L.L.M. in tax will also be considered in lieu of the Ph.D. ABDs will be considered but must complete Ph.D. by August 2017 for appointment at the Assistant Professor level. A professional certificate (e.g. CPA or CMA) is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate potential for high quality research and teaching.
