The School of Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications and nominations for 3 full-time faculty positions in the following content areas:

Community Health Nursing

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach their area of expertise in our accelerated BSN program, our entry-level and post-professional Master of Science in Nursing programs and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. We are interested in hiring dynamic faculty who have a strong interest in educational excellence and innovation to prepare nurses for the local, regional, and national workforce with interprofessional and global competencies. Faculty are expected to be actively engaged in the scholarship of discovery, teaching and learning or practice/application.

School of Nursing

Serving over 550 students with 57 full-time faculty, SON offers an accelerated BSN program, an entry-level and post-professional Master of Science in Nursing, a Certificate of Advanced Study, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice, one of the first DNP programs in the country.

The SON faculty includes outstanding educators and researchers in nursing. Many are also recognized nationally and internationally for their clinical and scholarly excellence.


Qualifications


Qualifications

Successful candidates will be eligible for licensure in Massachusetts, hold at least one graduate degree in nursing in the area of specialization required for the faculty appointment, and an earned doctorate in nursing or a related discipline. Exceptional applicants with a master's degree in nursing and appropriate certifications will be considered. Additionally, candidates must possess a commitment to scholarship appropriate with rank and must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
