Duties: Working closely with a group of post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and veterinarians in a translational research laboratory to study cell-based strategies to stimulate anti-tumor immunity in the dog.

Duties include but are not limited to cell and tissue culture, cloning, sequencing, mini-preps, western blotting, standard PCR and qRT-PCR, and ELISA and cell based immune assays.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in biology, biological sciences or a related discipline and 1-3 years of post-degree practical laboratory-based research experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Candidates must be fluent in English and have the right to work in the USA.

Preferred candidates will have experience in cell and tissue culture techniques, basic molecular biology techniques including RT-PCR, cloning, mammalian gene expression, transfection, viral production and transduction, immune based assays including flow cytometry, ELISA and ELISpot assays, and a good working knowledge of molecular biology/immunology/virology.

Position is contingent upon funding.
