Duties: Under general supervision, receives all visitors as they enter the department's reception area, inquires as to purpose of visit, and directs to appropriate staff. Answers telephones, takes messages, screens and transfers calls, and triages consult calls, as appropriate. Orders, tracks, and maintains office and common area supplies. Handles incoming and outgoing mail. As the first formal contact to visitors, the position is responsible for conveying professional and service-oriented behaviors in every transaction. Provides clerical support to the Executive Assistant and department administrative assistants as required including, but not limited to, calendar maintenance, types correspondence, maintains files, reproduces documents and distributes materials as directed.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Training in secretarial/office administration preferred. Must be a self starter with a high level of customer service, MS Office skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
