About The Unit:

Unit Job Summary: Position will support senior personnel to effectively manage multifaceted collaborations. Responsibilities include assisting team members to use online collaboration tools for astronomy, translating the vision of project directors into workflows and timelines that support the creative, and cohesive production of program deliverables. Assist with curriculum development for online astronomy. Perform advanced, diversified, administrative support for senior personnel. Keep ongoing report documentation available to the education lead, principal investigator and co-PI.

Unit Education: Masters degree, required.

Unit Experience: Required: Five years teaching experience in formal or informal setting Experience with online collaboration tools and software applications Project management experience Out of school programming experience Experience in educational research and evaluation Curriculum development experience Experience with astronomical image databases and research/education projects Experience working with students with special needs, particularly visual impairments
