Information Technology Instructor (PROTO)
Teach in an engaging environment and take part in shaping the evolving curriculum in the information technology area. Teaching assignments may include, but not limited to robotic concepts, business innovation, prototype design, how to build almost anything, rapid prototyping, model making, and virtual and augmented reality. Duties also include academic advising of students and serving on department and college committees. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational experience OR Associate's degree, current relevant industry certification and 2 years full-time related occupational experience required. Teaching experience in higher education/Community College preferred. Will involve travel to other campuses for day, evening and/or weekend classes. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process. 232 day, 12-month contract. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. Hiring process includes a background check. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
