Posting Summary:
The University Of Virginia Department Of Philosophy seeks applications to fill non-tenure track Instructional positions during the spring 2017 academic semester. Subject areas of particular need include, but are not limited to, ethical theory, political philosophy, the history of philosophy, aesthetics, philosophy of language and logic. Compensation will take the form of wages. A Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Applications will be considered beginning September 28, 2016. The lecturer will teach in the undergraduate program with an anticipated load of 1-2 courses.
