Duties: Under the administrative direction of the Vice-Provost and Director of Libraries, the Director of Financial and Administrative Services is responsible for the financial and general administrative services of the Libraries which include accounting, purchasing and procurement. As a senior member of the Vice-Provost's staff, participates in all long range planning and policy formulation for the Penn Libraries. The Director represents the Libraries in national and campus-wide activities and acts as the Libraries' liaison with the University's administrative, financial and facilities departments. The position currently supervises 5 full time employees. The Penn Libraries consist of fourteen libraries and a high density storage facility. The Libraries have an annual budget of $67 million and a staff of 300 FTEs.

Qualifications: A Master's Degree or more and 7 years to 10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
