The Center for Leadership Simulation and Gaming at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy seeks a highly organized, quality focused, energetic person to fill the position as a Project Coordinator. This position provides general administrative support to the Center's operations, its Directors, faculty, staff and students. The incumbent will serve as the point of contact and logistics planner for various events of the center, in particular, the annual NASPAA-Batten Student Simulation Competition, including on an off grounds outreach, partnership building. Experience in various types of simulation or experimental design is preferred but not required.
This position is for one year with continuation contingent on the program needs and funding.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong customer service orientation; creativity, ability to assume responsibility, take initiative and motivate others.
Ability to develop, monitor and manager budgets.
Demonstrated program/workshop development and event coordination experience.
Well-developed organizational skills, ability to simultaneously manager multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
