Clinical Assistant Professor
Daemen College invites applicants for a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Dietectic Internship Program. The Dietetic Internship Program's Clinical Assistant Professor is an effective educator who demonstrates program development and management skills, and a willingness to contribute to and support a teaching and learning environment that promotes cultural sensitivity and diversity. This individual minimally possesses a Master's degree in Education or Dietetics, and holds status as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, Certified Dietitian in New York State, and Board Certification in a specialized area of nutrition practice. This individual is adept at on-line delivery of education (specifically nutrition or dietetics), is a skilled administrator, and possesses strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills. An active professional, civic service and/or record of teaching dietetics, and a demonstrated commitment to dietetics education and practice is highly valued by the institution.
